Hello and thanks for stopping by!

Aside from my three major Fs, which are faith, family and friends, two subjects I find fascinating are people and words. I'm a voracious student of human nature and a lover of words.

I enjoy connecting with people worldwide - I see the earth as one country and humankind as its citizens. I love surfing the internet and am often online until late at night when my preschooler is asleep and not trying to take over the computer. You could say I'm an "internut" (nuts about the internet!).

My near-obsessive fascination with words compels me to write, mainly poetry and articles. I've published two books of poetry, "Break Every Rule" and "Leopards, Oracles and Long Horns". I also used to write a blog called "Far from the Fattening Crowd".

Some of my other interests are: reading, crocheting, music, languages, walking, chess, badminton and yoga. And I love the colour purple, every shade of it!
